Who here as ever been personally victimized by the delicious iced brown sugar oat milk latte from Starbucks?  After some shocking insight into the amount of times I had ordered this drink, I realized I probably had a problem and needed to stop. Between the sugar and the cost, it just can be validated everyday. So, lucky for both of us, I headed to the kitchen and became a self taught barista (who can honestly only make this one drink). It is easy to make, a near identical in taste, lower in sugar, and certainly lower in cost.

I will never stop being a stereotypical Starbucks lover, but this will make my trips much fewer and far between. I cannot wait for you to try my copy cat iced brown sugar oat milk latte!

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 tbsp of Brown Sugar

1 tsp Ground Cinnamon

10oz Strong Black Coffee (unflavored)

1 Cup of Ice

3/4 Cup Oat Milk

METHOD

  1. Add the brown sugar and cinnamon to the bottom of a cup

  2. Pour the fresh, very hot coffee over the cinnamon and sugar so it melts and stir well for 10 seconds.

  3. Pour coffee over ice and add milk

  4. Shake, stir, or whatever your heart desires.

  5. Yum.

It’s so good, right?! Like so good!
